1962 Fender Jaguar Surf Green Rebuild/Refinish – £3500

This is a fantastic aged and played in rebuilt 1962 Fender Jaguar in Surf Green with a Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard and white (cream) pickguard. It is a rebuild instrument as it arrived to us in pieces with parts missing, a Seymour Duncan stack Distorto pickup in the bridge and a badly cut around pickguard. Thankfully, the body hasn’t been routed or cut but had been treated to a lovely eggshell white paint job by Mr Dulux and the Crown Emulsions. The neck is all original, with much patina and crazing in the lacquer! The neck is an A profile and interestingly is pencil marked 12/61 so was pre-produced before the Jaguar went into full production. The body has been refinished and aged to perfection by restoration maestro Clive Brown. All original pickups parts and pickguard have been sourced and the whole lot reassembled! A fantastic guitar pulled back together and restored to its former glory! A fantastic totally cool sea green Jaguar!
