This is an all original 1990 U.S.A. Standard Fender Stratocaster that very much has the look of the famous Dave Gilmour Black Strat currently being reproduced by the Fender Custom Shop. We bought this in a while ago assured by the vendor that nothing had been changed on the guitar from when he bought it new, so lets put it down to a “happy coincidence” in the Fender Corona plant parts shop. This is a superb 1966 Fender Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue that has aged beautifully since a refinish by Strat restoration maestro Clive Brown. It is all original apart from an original 1966 pickguard and switch-tip bought from a reputable parts store in the USA.
